One Last Step

I knew once I walked
through that door
there was no
turning back

it was now or never.
the time was now
It was this moment
or it was lost
forever

Everything had
come to this point
and it was weighing
heavily to cross
the threshold

One step was all
it took. Just one
step forward. No
going back

open-door

  1. Good beginning and tell us more about the events in the poem in specifics. Your vagueness makes it harder to for the reader to connect. This was has potential and needs more work on specifics to ground it.
